RED Scarlet and the Canon C300
Which are you? Do you even dabble in the video side of dSLR?
Well, sadly I’d have to sell the car to pick up either, and I’m a stills kind of guy any way, but that’s some nice tech just there. What interests me a little more though is the ‘side announcement’ from Canon of the upcoming / in development EOS dSLR with more focus on video than the 5DMKII and some talk of 4K video, too..

“ The model will be equipped with a 35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor and, enabling the recording of 4K video* (at a frame rate of 24P, with Motion-JPEG compression), will make possible the type of exceptional image quality and sublime imaging expression to be expected from the next generation of “EOS Movies.”

Here's that C300 just launched by Canon
QUESTION: Do you shoot video with your dSLR? What extra kit do you use when you shoot video? A mic? (I personally use the Rode VideoMic Pro if you’re interested) what about mixers etc? How do you store it, carry it or work with it? Is there something in our range of bags that ‘almost’ works for you? We love suggestions and feedback… [please add your comment below!]
Here’s Vince Laforet’s film, Mobius, using the Canon C300

Note that this version is a 720p version of the film that is optimized for fast playback on the majority of systems. It does not show the optimum image quality in terms of resolution and compression.
