Last week our winner was Diego Miranda, random dot org selected his comment as the winner!

“I would have something practical to shoot the Vive Latino music festival, with the two lenses that I’m borrowing … and I would have peace of mind that my friends lenses will be safe.

Please! I never won anything, and this would feel like having a bottle of gatorade in the desert… THANKS! ”

I was one of those “never wins anything” people, and then I won an iPad, It felt awesome, so I hope Diego feels awesome, too!

THIS WEEK

With the onslaught of Lytro, iPhone, Android and other assorted goodies, (Including the self composing Sony a57which is actually very sweet) I thought we would do a little *lower resolution* thinkTankThursday.

Here’s the brief… 

Upload your mobile phone type photos to wherever you usually do (e.g. if it’s Instagram or flickr or wherever) …make sure you tag them with #thinkTankThursday and then simply drop a link to your photo in the comments below, on our Facebook Page, via Twitter or @thinkTankPhoto on Instagram and we’ll select the one we like the most next thursday…

    Ida is believed to be the most complete primate fossil ever discovered. She is 95% intact and so well preserved that her tissues, hair and even her stomach contents are visible. Ida lived some 47 million years ago. How cool is that?
