We’ll follow up shortly with the first Q&A. To help others, please make sure to share these posts where you can. Introducing our first fantastic bunch of pro photographers.

Question one is live – see it here.

jose_antunes Jose Antunes – Jose’s passion for writing and photography started back in the eighties. Newspapers, magazines, books. From aviation to zen photography, from technology to nature gazing, he’s written for various newspapers and magazines. He is one of the founders of the most important videogames and photography magazines in Portugal – MegaScore and Fotodigital – and for six years executive editor of an aviation magazine, Sirius. He’s written books about Photography and Virtual worlds and is a columnist for Manfrotto School of Xcellence, the Australian website Photo Tuts+ and the American professional photographers website Pro Photo Coalition, besides being editor of his own emagazine on photography, FOTOdigital, and the founder of eBooks – The FOTOdigital Library. He leads photo tours and workshops in Portugal, around what he calls the Atlantic Realm, a coast line that is, legend says, what remains from Atlantis. www.joseantunes.com

©2014 Sebastian Stange:P4H_burnett David Burnett – David is a photojournalist with more than four decades of work covering the news, the people, and visual tempo of our age. He is co-founder of Contact Press Images, the New York based photojournalism agency, now entering its 39th year. In a recent issue of American Photo magazine Burnett was named one of the “100 Most Important People in Photography.” (That made his mom very happy.) In a world gone mad over digital photography, his kit includes a 60-year-old Speed Graphic press camera, and a plastic $30 HOLGA. Each has a place alongside his digital cameras, each camera a tool to find the right look for the right moment. The May/June 2010 issue of American PHOTO did a 10 page story on David, and his unique talent for staying ahead of the times. In July, 2011, David worked with Photographers for Hope to create a workshop for homeless news vendors in Glasgow, Scotland. Their work is a really wonderful show of what photography can do, when there is motivation. He is also collaborating with the group “Facing Change – Documenting America” which is trying to recreate a modern version of the FSA, and take a serious look at the issues facing the country during these turbulent economic times. www.davidburnett.com/ – Profile photograph by Sebastian Stange.
